Play by play and color commentator

Overview: The tandem of the play by play caller and color commentator is responsible for providing live narration and analysis of our sports events. This commentary will be used on our live stream and post production content. We are looking for a people who are knowledgeable of sports, culture and have a good grasp of the English language.

Qualifications: No experience or owned equipment is required although it helps.

Responsibilities:

• Live Commentary: Provide real-time, descriptive commentary of the event to keep the audience engaged and informed. Describe the action, including player movements, strategies, and key plays, in a clear and engaging manner. All while providing energy and exciting that will translate to the viewer.

• Preparation: Research teams, players, and participants to provide accurate and relevant background information. Prepare scripts, notes, and talking points in advance to ensure well-informed commentary. Stay updated on current events, player conditions, and other factors that may impact the event.

• Attend meetings
In order to produce a smooth event, a lot of planning and coordination among the crew will be necessary. You will be required to attend the full length of these meetings and provide input as it pertains to your position.
